Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

Towson Smile Care is currently OPEN and seeing patients for elective and emergency procedures.  We are in full compliance of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Maryland Dental Association guidelines for COVID-19.

You will see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff.

  • Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask screening questions. Your temperature will also be taken as soon as you enter the office.

  • Our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children's toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.

  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients.

  • We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.

  • We also ask that you come to your appointment alone, If you need a driver we kindly ask that they wait in the car.

  • Patients will be required to wear a mask upon entering the office and leaving the office.

  • Our office will communicate with you beforehand to wait in your vehicle and call 410-296-7599 when you arrive, we will check you in and then notify you when it is time for your appointment.

  • Safety is of utmost importance and all dental offices are taking steps to protect their patients and staff. With the new PPE requirements it is harder to obtain the new required PPE because they are being sent to hospitals which then increase the overhead for dental practices. At this time per the American Dental Associations (ADA) recommendation our office will be charging a $10.00 PPE fee at each visit.

  • Our office has also purchased multiple Medical Grade H13 Filtration Air Purifiers. The purifiers use 3 levels of filtration and removes 99.9% of particles down to 0.1 microns.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at 410-296-7599
